If you want to award a project you liked, you need to go to the About page of such project and click on the button I like this, you can find it under the name and short information about the project.
If you want to award a report form of the project participant, open such report form (click on the link of the report form in Findings widget next to the participant’s username) and click on the icon Like.
You can award an idea you need to go to Ideas page, choose specific idea and go to the special page of such idea by making click on its icon on the Ideas page. I like this button is located below the text of the idea.
If you want to award a comment of the GlobalLab community participant, click on the icon Like under the comment text next to the button Reply.
To award message in Author’s blog of the project or in the site news page, click I like this button on the page of blog or on the page of a specific message.
In all cases of successful awarding the Like button or icon changes to phrase You like this. You can “like” each content only once.
You can see number of project “likes” on the score tab at the bottom of each project card and on the About page of a specific project.
Number of report form “likes” of specific participant you can find in widget Report Forms on the Findings page of the project next to the username as well as in report form itself.
Number of “likes” of an idea is shown on the score tab at the bottom of each idea card and on the page of a specific idea.
Number of “likes” of comments and messages is shown next to such comment or message.
Content authors earn score points if their work is “liked” by other participants.
Attention: What differentiates GlobalLab from other social networks is that in GlobalLab you have limited number of “likes”. It is limited by your current Power.
When a GlobalLab user hands out “likes,” his or her power depletes accordingly. This is to ensure participants feel strongly about projects when they “like” them.
“Liking” someone’s work is not mandatory, but by doing so, you further the development of the GlobalLab community and support talented authors (projects with more “likes” rise to a higher position). Apart from that, the exchange of “likes” is an important part of the of the collegial relationships among the GlobalLab members.
