My Moon Journal
Observe the Moon over the course of a lunar cycle and keep track of your observations in a Moon Journal.
The Moon is an easy object for anyone to study. One of the best places to start is by making simple observations of the Moon on different days and noticing that the shape of the brightly lit portion as seen from Earth changes over time, and that there is a pattern to those changes. In this project, you will observe the shape of the lit portion of the Moon over the course of four to five weeks and keep track of these observations in a Moon Journal. You will then compare your results with the results from other places of the world to discover if the moon looks the same in different parts of the world.
